Our Work
Writing PolyQueer Worlds
This project explores the lived experiences of Canadian and U.S. non-monogamous families. It reveals how non-monogamous families structure their relationships in response to their sense of legal liminality.
Social Resilience & Polyamorous Families
How do polyamorous families address crises and forms of adversity in ways that are meaningful to them? How do they learn, teach, and practice resilience in a world that does not always recognize the legitimacy of their family practices? This project takes an in-depth look at polyamorous families to show how their unique family structures provide pathways for addressing everyday moments of crisis and adversity.
Family Snapshots
Non-monogamous families inherit a long and varied history in Canada and the United States. In these snapshots, we explore some of the contemporary demographic characteristics and family structures of secular non-monogamous families in Canada and the United States.
